Laura Rogers-Bailey:
Laura is our Veterinary Technical Assistant. She has been working in the veterinary field since July 2000. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Longwood College and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster's Veterinary Technician program . Laura has 2 cats: Zelda, a tortoiseshell calico with bad "cattitude" and Mina a sleek little gray kitty with peach "highlights" and 2 dogs: Cleo, a rottweiler mix who is a lap dog at heart and Sonja, a mixed breed with drama queen flair. When she is not working or playing with the "furry kids" she enjoys spending time with the rest of her family and friends, painting, reading, and listening to music.
Laura says,"Honestly, veterinary medicine was not a field of study I ever really considered until after I graduated college. I answered an ad in the paper looking for science majors with an interest in animals who were willing to train as veterinary technicians. From the first day I knew I had found a career I would love for a lifetime. I worked at this particular clinic for almost 6 years. I am so pleased to now put my skills to work at The Wright Animal Clinic. I strongly believe everything happens for a reason: Veterinary medicine chose me and I accepted wholeheartedly! "
